What Types of IPAF and PASMA Training are Available in Aberdeen?

IPAF Training Aberdeen

IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: The IPAF 3a and 3b Training Program provides individuals with the necessary skills and knowledge to safely operate a variety of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs). This includes equipment such as cherry pickers, scissor lifts, and different types of mobile booms like articulated and electric boom lifts. The course covers aspects such as preparation and operation of the equipment, as well as identifying and responding to potential hazards.

IPAF OP - Mobile Vertical/Mobile Boom/Static Boom 3A 3B 1B: The IPAF OP course is a comprehensive training program that covers the safe operation of different types of MEWPs such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers, and boom lifts. This training program is intended for operators of Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) and individuals who seek to renew their operator licences.

IPAF OP - Static Booms 1B: The IPAF 1B training program is tailored to assist operators in preparing and operating Static Boom Lifts safely. The course includes a combination of classroom instruction, hands-on demonstrations, and both practical and written evaluations.

IPAF Load Unload: Our Load Unload course will equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to safely load, unload and assess the safety of workplace materials. You will learn the legislation surrounding loading and unloading, and how to position vehicles during the procedure.

You will attend one of our IPAF accredited training centres where you will learn the following: 

  • Proper techniques to drive and manoeuvre Static Boom Lifts
  • Health and safety regulations specific to the equipment
  • Industry best practices for MEWPs set by IPAF 

PASMA Training Aberdeen

PASMA Towers for Users Course: During this course, participants will learn how to safely set up and take down Mobile Aluminium Towers (MATs) while also gaining an understanding of potential hazards associated with the equipment.

In addition, attendees will receive hands-on guidance on the appropriate use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and be provided with a thorough understanding of regulations and laws specific to aluminium towers.
