The PASMA Combined Course: Low Level Access & Towers for Users is designed for anyone who works with low level access units and standard mobile access towers. Combining two essential PASMA certifications into a streamlined one-day programme, this course offers both theoretical knowledge and hands-on practical training.

• Relevant legislation and regulations, including the Work at Height Regulations 

• PASMA Code of Practice and PAS 250 (Publicly Available Specification) guidance 

• Assembling, altering, and dismantling of access towers and low level platforms 

• Safe working practices, including current best practice for fall protection 

• Identifying common hazards when using access towers and low level units 

• Inspection procedures for both types of equipment 

• How to complete and maintain Tower Inspection Records

Course Details  

Teaching Method  

The course is practical, and classroom based, currently with a maximum delegate number of 8 (broken up into morning and afternoon sessions of 4 each) due to room capacity at our locations.  

Duration of the course 

To complete both of these courses separately would take 1.5 days, however the combined course provides a streamlined course delivery that fits everything into one full day.   

How delegates will be assessedAssessment  

Delegates will be assessed and given a 30-question multiple choice assessment and providing they pass, will progress to the practical element. It is a closed book exam with a pass mark of 80%.  

Assessment takes around 30 minutes and the practical is around 3-4 hours depending on the experience of the delegates.  

PASMA Certification  

A PASMA PhotoCard and Certificate valid for five years will be issued to successful delegates who complete the theory and practical sessions on the PASMA Combined Course.

You’ll take a 30-question multiple choice exam (closed book, 80% pass mark), followed by a practical assessment lasting 3-4 hours depending on experience.
