PASMA Combined Course: Low Level Access & Towers For Users

Current Legislation, Regulations and Guidance affecting working from low level access units and standard mobile access towers, PASMA Code of Practice, PAS250 (Publicly Available Specification), assembling, altering and dismantling, incorporates current best practice for fall protection, inspection of both low level and standard mobile access towers. Tower Inspection Records; hazards affecting the use of units & platforms.

Course Objectives

How to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate low level access units and standard mobile access towers without risk of personal injury to the delegate or others.

Who Should Attend

Anyone who may work from low level access units and standard mobile access towers.

Course Details 

Teaching Method 

The course is practical, and classroom based, currently with a maximum delegate number of 8 (broken up into morning and afternoon sessions of 4 each) due to room capacity at our locations. 

Duration 

To complete both of these courses separately would take 1.5 days, however the combined course provides a streamlined course delivery that fits everything into one full day.  

Assessment 

Delegates will be assessed and given a 30-question multiple choice assessment and providing they pass, will progress to the practical element. It is a closed book exam with a pass mark of 80%. 

Assessment takes around 30 minutes and the practical is around 3-4 hours depending on the experience of the delegates. 

PASMA Certification 

A PASMA PhotoCard and Certificate valid for five years will be issued to successful delegates who complete the theory and practical sessions on the PASMA Combined Course.
