IPAF Training Courses Swansea
Our courses are aligned with legislation, safe and effective industry practices and are approved by The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF) so learners can gain the knowledge and skills to operate powered access equipment.
If you wish to work in the maintenance, industrial or construction industry, you are legally required to undergo safety training to work with powered access equipment. Successful completion of our courses will award learners with a Powered Access Licence card (PAL Card), which is valid for 5 years.

IPAF Training Swansea
IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: Operating Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) such as scissor lifts, cherry pickers and boom lifts requires specialist training. NWP Swansea provides training on how to identify risks, safely operate and prepare MEWPs.
IPAF Harness Use and Inspection: Mangers, supervisors and operatives are responsible for ensuring proper workplace health and safety practices, such as proper harness and lanyard usage for MEWP operation. This course will provide you with the skills and knowledge you need to select and don a harness properly.
IPAF Load Unload: Legislation requires proper training on how to safely load, unload and position vehicles in the workplace. This course provides learners with everything they need to know.
