We offer a range of health & safety training and PAL, IPAF and MEWP training in Edinburgh delivered by highly qualified and experienced, award winning instructors.
These courses are designed to give operators an understanding of how to operate machinery in a safe and effective manner in line with legislation. Our courses are accredited by The International Powered Access Federation’.
Upon completion, learners are rewarded with a Powered Access Licence (PAL card) which is valid for 5 years and is universally recognised.

IPAF Training Edinburgh
IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: This course is designed to equip operators with the knowledge on how to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) safely, such as scissor lifts, mobile booms, cherry pickers and electric booms.
IPAF OP - Mobile Vertical/Mobile Boom/Static Boom 3A 3B 1B: Are you wanting to learn how to safely operate MEWPS? Or are you an operator wanting to renew your old licence? This course is designed for you.
IPAF OP - Static Booms 1B: This course is designed for learners who want to learn how to operate static boom lifts safely, in line with legislation and best industry practices.
IPAF Harness: There are 3 different harness courses – either Harness Awareness which is done via e-learning, Harness User which teaches you how to don a harness correctly, and Harness Inspection which teaches you how to inspect a harness. If you are in a role such as a managerial position, a supervisor or operative responsible for harness and lanyards for MEWP usage, one of these courses is perfect for you.
IPAF Load Unload: This course will support learners to understand how to load, unload and position vehicles safely in line with legislation and safe industry practices.
PASMA Training Edinburgh
PASMA Towers for Users Course: This course is designed to give learners the skills, knowledge and experience they need to take down Mobile Aluminium Towers (MAT’s) in a safe manner.
Learners will also understand how to effectively mitigate risks and deal with hazards safely.
PAL Training Edinburgh
PAL + 3A 3B: Are you an operator working in a high risk, challenging environment? This one day, optional PAL + course is beneficial for you.
PAL + Mobile Scissor/Boom: Are you an operator working with mobile scissor lifts or boom lifts in a high risk, challenging environment? This one day, optional PAL + course is beneficial for you.
