Completing the course awards operators with a Powered Access Licence (PAL card) which is valid for 5 years and is recognised internationally.

The IPAF, MEWP and PAL training courses available in Leeds
IPAF Training Leeds
IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: Operators gain an insight into how to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) safely. This includes machines such as mobile booms, cherry pickers, scissor lifts and electric booms.
IPAF OP - Static Booms 1B: Want to learn how to operate static boom lifts safely from experienced trainers? This course will provide you with everything you need to know in line with legislation and best industry practices.
IPAF Load Unload or Load Unload +: If you’re wanting to learn how to safely load, unload and position vehicles and conduct safe transport inspections, this course is for you. Please note the Load Unload is for vehicles under 7.5 tonne, and the Load Unload + is for vehicles 7.5 tonne and above.
IPAF OP - Mobile Vertical/Mobile Boom/Static Boom 3A 3B 1B: This IPAF training course is designed for operators who wish to safely operate MEWPs or renew their old licence.
IPAF Harness: There are 3 different harness courses – either Harness Awareness which is done via e-learning, Harness User which teaches you how to don a harness correctly, and Harness Inspection which teaches you how to inspect a harness. If you are in a role such as a managerial position, a supervisor or operative responsible for harness and lanyards for MEWP usage, one of these courses is perfect for you.
PASMA Training Leeds
PASMA Towers for Users Course: On this course, operators will learn how to safely take down Mobile Aluminium Towers (MAT’s) and how to effectively deal with risks and mitigate risks.
PASMA Towers for Managers Course: For those who manage or supervise those who are erecting, dismantling or inspecting mobile aluminium towers.
PAL Training Leeds
PAL + 3A 3B: This one day, optional course gives learners the skills and knowledge they need to work in high risk, challenging environments safely.
PAL + Mobile Scissor/Boom: This one day, optional course is for operators working with mobile scissor lifts or boom lifts in high risk, challenging environments.
