Our NWP training centre located just east of London, in Essex. At this centre, we offer a full range IPAF approved training courses, delivered by world-class, award-winning instructors who have years of experience and knowledge in the industry.
You will learn how to operate heavy machinery through our courses, accredited by The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF). This means, upon successful completion, you will be awarded with a Powered Access Licence (PAL card) which is internationally valid for 5 years.

IPAF, PAL and PASMA training at Essex
IPAF Training Essex
IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: This MEWP training course provides learners with the skills and knowledge they need to operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs) safely. This includes cherry pickers, mobile booms, electric booms and scissor lifts.
IPAF OP - Static Booms 1B: This IPAF course provides operators with the skills and knowledge they need to operate static boom lifts safely.
IPAF OP - Mobile Vertical/Mobile Boom/Static Boom 3A 3B 1B: Operators who need to renew their old licence or need to learn how to safely operate MEWPs will benefit from this course.
IPAF Harness: There are 3 different harness courses – either Harness Awareness which is done via e-learning, Harness User which teaches you how to don a harness correctly, and Harness Inspection which teaches you how to inspect a harness. If you are in a role such as a managerial position, a supervisor or operative responsible for harness and lanyards for MEWP usage, one of these courses is perfect for you.
IPAF Load Unload or Load Unload +: If you’re wanting to learn how to safely load, unload and position vehicles and conduct safe transport inspections, this course is for you. Please note the Load Unload is for vehicles under 7.5 tonne, and the Load Unload + is for vehicles 7.5 tonne and above.
PASMA Training Essex
PASMA Towers for Users Course: Operators will learn how to safely take down Mobile Aluminium Towers (MAT’s). This course also teaches learners how to effectively mitigate and prevent risks.
PASMA Towers for Managers Course: For those who manage or supervise those who are erecting, dismantling or inspecting mobile aluminium towers.
PAL Training Essex
PAL + 3A 3B: This is a one-day, option course for those who work in high risk, challenging environments and require training on how to effectively operate in such environments.
PAL + Mobile Scissor/Boom: Similar to the above, this one-day, optional course gives operators the skills and knowledge they need to operate mobile scissor lifts or boom lifts in high risk, challenging environments.
