IPAF Training Nottingham

Our wide range of IPAF and MEWP courses in Nottingham are designed to provide learners skills, knowledge and expertise in operating powered access equipment according to industry best practices and the law.

Our approved training courses are accredited by The International Powered Access Federation (IPAF), a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting the safe and effective use of powered access equipment. Completing one of our courses will provide you a Powered Access Licence card (PAL Card), which is valid for 5 years.

As per the law, a powered access training qualification is required if you wish to work in the maintenance, construction or industrial industry. This ensures safe workplace practices and ensures those operating powered access equipment are aware of how to use the machinery according to best health and safety practices.

At our Nottingham training centre, you will learn how to inspect your powered access equipment pre-use, proper operation techniques and emergency procedures. This will give you all-encompassing knowledge on the proper use of powered access equipment.

What Types of IPAF and MEWP Training are Available?

We provide 3 different types of IPAF and MEWP training courses at our Nottingham centre.

IPAF Training Nottingham

IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: If you’re looking to learn how to safely operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), identify hazards and risks and prepare equipment, this course will teach you everything you need to know . Equipment that is considered MEWPs are cherry pickers, mobile booms and scissor lifts.

IPAF Harness Use and Inspection: If you want to learn how to inspect, select and don a harness, and you are a manager, supervisor or operative, our IPAF Harness Use and Inspection course is for you. This course is designed for those responsible for ensuring proper harness and lanyard usage for MEWP operation.

IPAF Load Unload: This course gives learners the knowledge and skills they need to unload according to legislation and proper, safe practices in the industry, from safe vehicle positioning, unloading safely and safety inspections.
