What Types of IPAF and MEWP Training are Available in Taunton?

We provide 3 different types of IPAF and MEWP training courses at our Taunton centre.

IPAF Training Taunton

IPAF 3A and 3B Operator Training: This course is designed to provide learners with everything they need to know to safely operate Mobile Elevating Work Platforms (MEWPs), identify hazards and risks and prepare equipment. This includes MEWPs such as cherry pickers, mobile booms and scissor lifts.

IPAF Harness: There are 3 different harness courses – either Harness Awareness which is done via e-learning, Harness User which teaches you how to don a harness correctly, and Harness Inspection which teaches you how to inspect a harness. If you are in a role such as a managerial position, a supervisor or operative responsible for harness and lanyards for MEWP usage, one of these courses is perfect for you.

IPAF Load Unload: From safe vehicle positioning, unloading safely and safety inspections, this course gives learners the knowledge and skills they need to load and unload according to legislation and proper, safe practices in the industry.
